Loop of the four hermitages
11 km linking the four hermitages of the area: Estrella, Val, Santa Lucía and Humilladero.
The route
Start from the walled old town. First stop: the Hermitage of Our Lady of Val (500 m), with its Romanesque portal from 1138. Continue by rural path to the Hermitage of Our Lady of the Star (3 km).
From Estrella, route to the 16th-century Hermitage of Santa Lucía (3 km), beside the CM-1001 road. Close the loop down to the Humilladero hermitage, at the entrance of the village. Return to the walled old town.
A flat route with moderate cumulative elevation, ideal for intermediate walkers. Completed in 3-4 hours with stops.
